牙買加 Dub、雷鬼大哥大 Lee "Scratch" Perry 1978 年專輯，樂手群 The Upsetters 最後參與作品，產自大名鼎鼎的 Black Ark 錄音室；Black Ark 據聞是 Perry 法力最高的地方，從這裡誕生的聲音尤其獨特，The Clash、Paul McCartney 等人都曾慕名前來錄音。這張《Return of the Super Ape》作為 Black Ark 的末期作品，同時被後世視作珍寶，看似為經典前作《Super Ape》續作，視覺概念上也如出一轍，而玩心與古怪更甚前作，深具開創性的 slapback 迴聲、混音等技術的巧妙運用難以捉模，叫人驚艷。
