因為單曲〈Crew〉獲葛萊美提名後，Bandcamp 等網路音樂平台起家的 GoldLink 意外得到商業成績後，隔了近 2 年才發行首張正式專輯《Diaspora》，GoldLink 等於是組成一人 Electro-Afrofunk 樂團，無拘無束遊走 Afro、R&B、dancehall 之間，展現極度寬廣視野的黑人驕傲。與 Tyler, The Creator 及 Jay Prince 合作的〈U Say〉，帶有 UK Garage 底蘊，低調又迷人的傑作。
