《Mycelium Wassonii》敘說著 R. Gordon 及 Valentina Wasson 這對先鋒科學家夫妻的故事，兩人在美國掀起迷幻蘑菇之風潮，並大力推動將其使用於精神疾病之治療。由居住於墨西哥的馬薩特克土著中對於迷幻蘑菇的使用循跡至古羅馬，跨區域且跨領域的研究除登上 Life Magazine 等知名雜誌並引起銀行家 J.P. Morgan 及 CIA 的重視，本作將 Wasson 雙人組為追尋迷幻蘑菇的遊歷化為圖像式傳記以及這對蘑菇奇侶的愛情故事。
